"The Future Freaks Me Out" is a song by the pop punk band Motion City Soundtrack. It features on their debut album, ''I Am the Movie'' and was released as their first single in Europe. The B-side for the CD single was "1000 Paper Cranes", which originally featured on ''I Am the Movie'' (the version released by the band while unsigned) but was the only song missing for the Epitaph CD release.〔(Motion City Soundtrack )〕 The song has become a crowd favorite at Motion City Soundtrack shows.
